they arent bad!. it is something that pretty much every kid nowadays has to go thru!. when u first get them on, they will hurt alittle!. for a few days!. but mosltly just when you put pressure on them!. is when it hurts!.- just take tylenol or advil or sumthin like that!. i had them for three years!. and i didnt think they were bad!. after a few days they will stop hurting!. and you will get used to them!. i sometimes forgot they were there until i looked in the mirror!. just keep up with you brushing, and you will be fine!. good luck-Www@Answer-Health@Com
When you first get them on, your mouth and teeth are sore and tender and it hurts to chew, so be prepared for that!. Listen to them when they tell you not to eat certain foods, or your brackets WILL break!. I didn't listen and i broke a bunch of them off!. If they tell you to wear elastics, wear them because if you don't then you will have to have them on longer then you should!. Oh, and before you leave the orthodontists place, make sure that they trim all the wires so that they don't stick out and cut up the inside of your mouth!Www@Answer-Health@Com
they dont hurt when the dentist put dem on, but it'll hurt a bit after 2 hours!.!.u should just eat soft fuds!.!.!.nvr eat hard fuds, u can eat chewinggum but make sure it is sugarfree, dey sed it releases the pain fast!.!.!.just dnt be scared of having dem, dont get nervous coz braces are good to u, they are not bad!.!.hehehehe! lol!.!.=0 dont worry if it is uncomfortable, it'll not take long,but if u feel pain just take some pain killers!.!.u'll feel uncomfortable for only 2 days or 3 only!.!.!.so, gud luck! u'll be facing a new world of teeth for the nxt few years or so!.!.!.hope I helped!take care!

well i got told that generally you need them on top and bottom which is what my orthodontist told me i need
There usually on for 12-18 months and you need to get spacers put on before you get the braces to make room!.
You need a clean and a fluride at the dentist before the braces go on and you need to get your braces tightened every 6-8 weeks
and im guessing they will hurt lol

They aren't that bad!.!.!.the first day or two they hurt!. You should plan on soup or soft food!. When you get them tightened they sometimes are sore!. When they come off DO ALWAYS wear your retainer otherwise your teeth will go back and be crooked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
