Question: My 8 year has a tooth coming through the roof of his mouth should I be concerned!?
I have a 8 year old autistic child whom has had a lot of dental problems!. His dentist is out of the office for a week and I just noticed a tooth coming in the roof of his mouth!. I justed wanted to see if anyone has had this problem and does anyone think I should take him to another doctor or wait till his doctor gets back!. I have never seen this before and I don't know to rush him to the hospital or just be patient!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Teeth that come in at unusual locations is not normal!. I would contact your dentist's office and schedule an appointment for as soon as you can after his return!. I don't know that this is an emergency situation, but taking care of it as soon as possible is probably best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I saw a girl when I was in elementary school with this!.
It was right in the middle of the roof of her mouth, and there was some type of braces thing on it!.
That's the only time I've seen it!.

Call and make an appointment for next week!. While it's not real common it's common!.!.!.does that make sense!?
You will probably have to have an ortho consult!. They can actually put a chain on the tooth and drag it into place over time!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you should be ready because the regular tooth could start to grow in front of that tooth which makes the tooth growing on the roof impossible to get toWww@Answer-Health@Com
