Will soaking my plastic retainers in mouthwash all day ruin them?!
Question: Will soaking my plastic retainers in mouthwash all day ruin them!?
I have those plastic retainers that look like the invisiline braces and I have only soaked them in mouthwash maybe three times since I've had them, but they have felt a little looser when I put them on!. Will soaking them in mouthwash ruin them and if so will only 3 times be enough to ruin them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the plastic retainers as well!.!.!.and I would not chance it!. Just get yourself some Efferdent or Polident tablets and soak your retainers in that!. It will clean, freshen, and sanitize them without damaging them!.

The only thing that can happen to them is they may be discolored!
If you soak them in a colored mouthwash and they do become discolored!.!.!.no worries!!!
Clean them with rubbing alcohol and them rinse them with water!.
Can't come up w/ an answer for why they are loose!.!.!.!.!?!?!?!? You have me puzzled!.!.!.

Maybe you should ask your dentist, because I soak my retainer all the time, but I don't have invisalign type!. Mine are fine and I've soaked them hundreds of times, but to be sure, I would ask my dentist if I were you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I soak my retainer all the time!.!.!.it's not invisalign, it's acrylic over metal wire, but they are A-OK!. I also brush them with toothpaste to get off any film, etc!. However, you paid good $ for these, so pick up the phone and ask the dentist!Www@Answer-Health@Com
