Do you need to sign a contract to have dentures?!
Question: Do you need to sign a contract to have dentures!?
My sister was telling me a story about this old man who didn't understand English, and so he thought he only had to go to the dentist to get his 2 teeth pulled out!. But it turned out, he signed up to get dentures!. Then I told her why that man is so stupid and won't stop the procedure!? She said it's a 'contract', but i thought that's kind of lame!. Is this true!? You can't back out from a contract!? Or do you even need a contract for dentures!? maybe that dentist place is a rip offWww@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
What he probably signed was a consent form!. We do that at my office!. We have patients sign a form stating that they are aware of the procedure and risks associated with it!. I've never heard of a contract, but I can see how it would get confused!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i dont think this is true, but i will tell you what happened when i got my wisdom teeth removed, which is similar!. you first have to talk to someone personally and they determine if you can read understand and write english!. you must write in english that you understand english and so on and sign and date that piece of paper!. only THEN will you be able to have the procedure explained to you!. most people with dentures still have teeth, but have lost many!. i work in a nursing home so i teeth with many many sets of partial dentures!. they are also extremely expensive, so this sounds like it is untrue!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
