Answers:
keep the area really clean by brushing regularly, and a mouthwash such as chlorhexidine (Corsodyl is the common name but you pay for the name also)!. This is a mouthwash designed specifically for gum problems and should reuce bacteria and inflammation!. If it becomes painful try taking ibuprofen!.

Salty mouthwashes are also a good alternative but don't taste very pleasant and may not work as wellWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes, gargling with salt water will help, but you really should try to make an earlier appointment to see the dentist you may need antibiotics , failing that phone them up, explain what has happened and ask them for advice that will see you through until Tuesday !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes gargle warm salt water that may help to kill/clean any infection you have within your gum!. for the pain/swelling try neurofen!. that may ease it a little!. try a little clove oil - it tastes horrible but can numb the area!. always works for me

hope this helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like an abscess you need to call your dentist you need an antibiotic!. Not to scare you but dental infections can ( not that they always do) but can get in to your blood stream and can be fatal if left untreated!. At least call your dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a similar problem!. Don't wait!. Go to another doctor or to an emergency room!. Infections can get really ugly!. Clorhexidine helps, also apply Parodium Gel on gum!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

!.Just use salt water, keep it clear of infectionWww@Answer-Health@Com
