Yes it's okay if you use your fingers!. They recommend you using that lil hook thing but i hated it but be careful you don't stretch it too much or open your mouth too wide it can pop inside your mouth and yes that hurts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
its okay to just use your fingers to take them off and put them on!. depending on the job the rubber bands need to do, there are different ways to wear them!. when i had mine, i had what was called a "box" i had to wear mine hooked at the very back, top and bottom and about 2 teeth forward hooked top and bottom!. however, your orthodontist is the only one who can tell you how to wear your rubber bands!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
