I think you are doing the right thing, but the dentist says that you not suppose to eat nothing sweet before you go to bed, unless you brush, floss and swish, i hope i spell the last word right, but some people has very delicate gum and teeth, and my dentist also say that some salt water is good to rinse your mouth out at least twice a day!. i had a lot of problem with my teeth , so i have laid of f of gum and sweet for a while, especialy at night, drinking too much soda, and too much candy bars and chocolate, can cause, it and not swishing enought, it has to be10 to 15 minutes all together foreach steps!. peace!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you spoke to the hygienist at the dentist's office she would say that you should brush and floss twice a day (on wakeup and before bed)!. Actually some of them say 3 times a day (after every meal) but that is on the crazy side!.

I think you need more brushing and flossing and maybe some instructions from the dentist's office on how to do it right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you only brush at night!? The guidelines are to brush at least twice a day and preferably after every meal!.

Also, if you drink a lot of soda or eat things that contain a lot of sugar, then this could cause your cavity!.

Just cut back on the sweets or brush right after eating them and you shouldn't get any more!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

do you drink a lot of acidic drinks, like pop!? Eat a lot of sugar!? If you drink any acidic drinks, chew some gum afterwards, like trident!. The gum is good for your teeth!. Along with brushing and flossing rinse with a flouride was like ACT!. Try to lay off the sweets and pop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
