Teeth Seperates When Retainer Doesn't Stay In?!

Question: Teeth Seperates When Retainer Doesn't Stay In!?
Okay here's the situation, I have had my braces off for about 7 months!. I have my top retainer!. I only take it off when I'm eating, brushing my teeth, and for chewing gum!. My big problem is that when i take them off and leave them off for about 2 hours, it seems that my gap starts to reappear!. It's not a big gap!. I don't really have time to go to the dentist to tell him because I go to school everyday full time!. What should I do!? Why is this happening after 7 months!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should go back to your orthodontist!. They might do a bonded retainer on the back of your teeth to keep it form opening if you a good candidate for one!. If not have them tighten your retainer and wear it faithfully!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the point of the retainer is to keep your teeth from spacing out!. after you get ur braces off, your teeth want to get back to the way it was before cuz thats what its used to!. The point of the retainer to get them to get used to staying like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT TAKE OFF YOUR RETAINER UNTIL YOUR DENTIST TELL TO!.!.!.!.!. YOU MAY HAVE TO GET BRACES AGAIN!.!.!.!. HONEY PUT THE RETAINER BACK ON AND THEY WILL GO BACK IN PLACE!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
