Question: Plz help me out with this!.!?
i had a temporary filling before 4 days!.!.!.!.!.but for the past two days it pains a lot especially when i consume hot drinks(it doesnt pain while eating)& also it pains a lot in the night!.!.!.my doctor told me to go for a root canal if these temporary fillings doesnt work!.!.!.wat can i do now plz suggest me something friendsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Please make it sure whether it is PAIN or SENSITIVITY!.
If it is sensitivity, then that means that the caries has not been completely obliterated!. What you need is a good cavity cleaning and a proper filling!. Go for a permanent composite resin restoration!.
If it indeed is pain, then your temporary treatments have not worked and you have gone into pulpitis!. The ONLY real treatment is Root Canal Therapy, followed by either composite restoration or by placing a cap (metallic/ceramic)Www@Answer-Health@Com

My fillings were really sensitive too in the beginning but they are okay now!. I suggest that if it does not dull after a few weeks, that you should talk to your dentist about it!.

Did your dentist prescribe you anything for pain!? If not try taking Alieve!. It helps a lot!. As for a root canal, if it is bothering you, I would get it done!. I had the same problem and then went and got the root canal, it has not given me a problem since!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I prefer if you do an x-ray first!. 2ND don't do anything before waiting at least one month so you let your nerves get used to the temp!. filling, i guess you have an infection so go back to your Dr!. ASAP!.
