Got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. Is it ok to use toothpaste?!

Question: Got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday!. Is it ok to use toothpaste!?
I had two uppers removed yesterday!. I'm not in too much pain, just mostly pressure!.

First question, is it ok to brush with toothpaste!? I've been rinsing with salt-water every few hours!.

My jaw is quite stiff, so I have been chewing noodles with my front teeth!.

Second question, it feels so much better when I have gauze or tea bags over the extraction sites!. The paper the doc gave me said to use them when I'm bleeding!. Is it ok to just leave the tea bags there and change them every now and then!? It just feels like there is less pressure when they are there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I got all of my wisdom teeth out yesterday, and I am in so much pain!.
You are supposed to brush your teeth 24 hours later with a very little bit of toothpaste!. I took my gauze out when I got home, it is too painful for me to have gauze in my mouth!. I was sedated and woke up in the middle of my procedure and was screaming!. My face is swollen and I feel awful!. I can't even eat!. My mouth is full of stitches on both sides!. I was told do not use salt water until the seventh day!. Good luck!

That is very strange!. I see you are from Texas , so am I!. What part are you from!? I live in Mckinney 30 miles north of Dallas!.

What kind of pain medicine did they give you!? They gave me Lortab 10/MG/500MG!. Blue!. They make me sick!.

You are not to far from me!.

It sounds like your procedure was much better then mine!.

I went to Dr!. Coke in Allen!. I didn't even get a phone call!.

One more thing I took your Doctors advice and rinsed with salt water and it really helped!. Thanks for asking the question you helped me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

continue rinsing with salt water, your toothbrush will tear the skin that has healed at the extraction site and if the tooth brush is not brand new does have bacteria on it and may cause an infectionWww@Answer-Health@Com

Toothpaste is fine and try not to leave gauze back there, the extraction site needs to breathe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
