Teeth get submitted to bacteria all the time, but do bones!? Would they rot like teeth!? Since you can't brush your bones, they would probably get really infected!. This may sound stupid, but I want to know!Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, teeth aren't made of bone!. They're made mostly of calcium carbonate!.

The bacteria that are dangerous to teeth are particular to saliva!. Teeth are more or less out in the open with no muscle or skin protecting them, and saliva is pretty nasty stuff!. Bones have a protective coating of muscle and fat!. Your mouth is hundreds of times dirtier than your insides!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no teeth aren't made of bone!. They are made of enamel and dentin and on the inside is blood and nerve supply!. Teeth rot because bacteria sit on them and make acid which sucks all the minerals out of them and turns them into goo!. If your bones were put in the same condition the same thign would happen, however your bones have a blood supply all around them so your immune system is able to fight any few bacteria that may get in your blood and be around them!. Since the teeth only have a small blood supply on the inside the immune system can't get to the bacteria to fight them which is why you need to brush those bacteria away

teeth are also not made of calcium carbonate, enamel is made of three things, water, protien and hydroxyapetite crystals!.!.!.mostly the third there is very little protien and water in enamel but someWww@Answer-Health@Com

teeth are not made of bone!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.bone is living tissue!.!.!.!.!.means it has got bloody supply but teeth have outer layer called enamel which is kinda dead!. One reason that teeth become yellow is because they are constantly in environment containing food, saliva, bacteria etc whereas bones are covered with muscles!. But it doesnot mean that teeth wont become yellow if you cover them with something!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.they will still become yellow with age of an individual because as we become old, the second layer of teeth called dentin(which is living) will increase in quantity and outer enamel(dead one) will wear out!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.as a result teeth will acquire dark colour of dentine!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.they will look yellowish!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your teeth are exposed to foods that decompose and rot on your teeth!. Your teeth are also exposed to acids and coloring agents in food!. Your bones aren't exposed directly to any of that stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
