Usually when heat bothers a tooth that is a sign that the nerve may be dying!. This might not be your case but I defiantly would not wait 6 months because more than likely it will get worse!. Just call your dentist and tell him your symptoms are getting worse!. There are tests they can do to see if the nerve is dying or not!. If not tell him you would like to have the filling done now!. Why wait, it's not going to go away on its own! Hope your tooth gets to feeling better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is the same tooth that hurts, I would say it is time to get the cavity filled!. Usually cavities are filled while they are small to prevent them from getting worse!. I not sure of a good reason to have waited in the first place!. Sometimes, if a cavity is very tiny, the tooth will fill it back in, but this is not usual!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure, but my guess would be that the cavity got worse and I think that you should talk to your dentist about it!. Watch what you eat and drink too; if you've been drinking and eating sugar/sodium high items, it's probably made it worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

since theres a cavity you may have a dry socketWww@Answer-Health@Com
