There can be all sorts of signs!. Probably the biggest would be pain and/or sensitivity!. If you can see the tooth, check its color!. Some may appear to be dark inside the tooth!. Others, you may feel with your tongue or finger and can feel an indentation, on the side, for example!. Well, I guess by then you already have a cavity! you should see your dentist every six months for checkups and radiographs and they can tell you if you have any cavities!.!.!.when you have a cavity and it hasnt gotten very big yet, there can be no signs or symptoms at all -it can just go on getting bigger without you ever even knowing its there, until one day it starts causing pain or sensitivity, or broken teeth, or a visible hole in your tooth, get your teeth checked and get your teeth filled before the cavity gets worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You just go to a dentist and they tell you lol Kidding, pain when eating anything sweet is one sign but not the only!. If you can see a cavitiy in your mouth then that means its been there awhile!. Hot and cold sensitivity on the same tooth is sometimes a sign that you need a root canal!. Alot of times there are no signs that you have a cavity until a doctor does an exam!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there will be a sensitivity to cold food/drinks and also when eating sugary foods!. Also, it will be slightly sticky to the touch compared to your other teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
