Fillings? Is my dentist just out for money.?!

Question: Fillings!? Is my dentist just out for money!.!?
I have 4 teeth w/ cavities along the gum line!. Visual holes!. This is what I went to the dentist to get repaired!.

She comes back saying I need 3 crowns (I did have 3 root canals done!.!.!.!. :t so I expected that!.) But then she goes on to list ***16*** teeth that "need" 1, 2, 3, or even 4 surface fillings!

My teeth are NOT that bad!. I had work done just last year, 12 months ago! Some of the same teeth the SAME dentist office worked on (different hygenist) she reports need additional fillings!

What I'm really laughing about is TWO teeth she said needed 1 surface fillings on last year she did NOT say needed them this year!.

I have a treatment plan from last year & this year to compare!.!.!. since it was differnt techs I kinda get the idea of what really needs done, but how do I know whats really worse, and what I can wait on!?

How can I tell whats critical!?

and one filled tooth has a void that didnt get packed w/ composite b4!.!.!. isn't that void a potential dissaster, Fix!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Since you have two treatment plans to compare from the same office and they differ, get a copy of your xrays and see someone else and compare that treatment plan with the two you already have and take it from there!.

A cavity is a cavity, no matter who spots it, but that many in such a short period of time is questionable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sorry but that was an exceptionally daft question!. Is your dentist "just in it for the money!?" It is her job, yes she is in it for the money, that neither makes her good or bad at her job, do you think her professors at college and dental school were in it for the money!?!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. yes they were!.
So you go to this dentist, you don't like the answers, recommendations she gives and the implication in your question is that her motives are inappropriate!. If you don't like her plan then see another dentist!. it is a big section in the yellow pages!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a second opinion, just make your insurance company aware of what is going on so they don't deny the second exam!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
