Robert H - if you look at the list of ingredients in most tooth whitening products (including the strips) you may notice that the tooth whitening ingredient is some form of Hydrogen Peroxide!. Just use hydrogen peroxide instead of your regular mouth wash!.
Every morning and before bed after brushing and flossing use Hydrogen Peroxide as your mouth wash!. You can buy hydrogen peroxide (3% in the brown bottle) at your local drugstore for about $2 for a 32 ounce bottle!. Mix ? ounce hydrogen peroxide with ? ounce hot water and swirl in your mouth for about 1 minute (hydrogen peroxide is odorless and tasteless but it FOAMS and may sting your mouth a bit)!. After swirling, spit out the hydrogen peroxide (DO NOT SWALLOW) and then rinse your mouth out several times with cool water!. A 32 ounce bottle will last about one month!.
Hydrogen peroxide will not only whiten your teeth it also kills the bacteria in the mouth that causes bad breath and cavities!.
For even more tooth whitening try a hydrogen peroxide and baking soda toothpaste (Like Arm&Hammer Advance White)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's a ton of simple stuff like the little teeth whitening (slips i think they're called!?) that you can put on your teeth, and then there's more complex stuff like bleaching, which i wouldn't suggest!.
Bleaching to me just doesn't sound healthy to begin with, though effective!. I read about some lady that collapsed in pain every now and then due to bleaching (doesn't sound like a turn on)!.
Teeth whitening slips, or whatever they're called, seem like the easiest way to go, but according to websites i checked, they generally only whitening your front 5 teeth!. So, with that said, good luck and lemme know what you end up doing!.

There are kits you buy on ebay which use the blue light technology and a dentist strength bleach !.
They are really good as i have used them in the past before and they work really well !.
Steer clear of the kits in boots which contain a paste as they do not work

Edit these kits are fab !.!. put the gel in the fridge !.I could not use the gum shield !.!. i used a cotton bud and painted the gel on the teeth and popped the light in !.!. DO NOT GET ANY ON YOUR GUMS AS IT HURTS LIKE HELL !.!. afterwards brush with a dry hard toothbrush !.!. top tip put some cotton wool at the sides of your cheeks whilst you have the blue light on you will know why when you do it !.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
