Braces: tooth-ache, loose teeth, etc?!

Question: Braces: tooth-ache, loose teeth, etc!?
I just got my braces two weeks ago!. There is one tooth that started hurting a couple hours ago - it is also a little loose, I noticed!. I know loose teeth are normal and whatnot, but is it normal for it to hurt!?
Also, I read (on Y! Answers) that you shouldn't wiggle the tooth, if it IS loose - why is this!? I clench and grind in my teeth, will that be a problem!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The teeth become loose because the bone and ligaments react to the contstant pressure being applied by all that metal, allowing them to gradually move into their new position!. You shouldn't wiggle the loose teeth because you'll be changing the forces that are applied, and it might affect how loose they get or where they move to!. Normal chewing, clenching and grinding shouldn't be a problem, since that was factored in when your braces were designed!. But if you habitually grind your teeth (bruxism) you might want to let your dentist know - they could make you up a mouthguard to prevent wear on your teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the tooth is changing position you better not touching it, after while your gum will take care of it for you!. This is the reason you have braces to correct the teeth!. They are falling in the right location as your Dr!. wants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh yeah, you have a lot more pain to go through on your quest to nice teeth!. The teeth become loose because the braces are forcing them to move to a new place!. They will firm up again and do not wiggle them!Www@Answer-Health@Com
