Retainers From Somewhere Else?!
Question: Retainers From Somewhere Else!?
Ok, I got my braces off like 2 weeks ago!. They ended up giving me the clear retainers!. Which I never wanted in the first place!.
The day I was getting them off, I asked if I was getting metal retainers and they said "No, you should have told us a month ago"
Now I have been wearing the clear retainers and I can't sleep with them in!. I tried! When I do sleep with them in, I end up waking up ALL night!. I can't sleep at all!.
And just last night, it cut my bottom lip!.
Also, in the morning, it is full of spit and when I take it out, I get that long strand and it just grosses me out!. And then I have a really bad taste in my mouth!.
Well to get to the point finally, my mom just called the orthodontist to see if I can get Metal Retainers!. Now they told her that it would be $250 EACH!!!
Isn't that BS!!?!!?!!?
My question, can I get retainers from anywhere else!? Is there any possible way!?
And I'm already getting a gap in my teeth and we paid THOUSANDS of $'s !!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yea go to any ortodontics and get a retainer, they will charge u for it of course liek 200 bucks for each top and bottom

I'm sure you can go to another doctor, but you would have to pay to have your teeth mold to fit a retainer!. That will cost you probably the same if not more then the orthodontist you have right now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i doubt you can get another retainer!. schedule an appointment with your orthodontist, maybe there is something wrong with your retainer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
