Do cavity fillings easily break?!
Question: Do cavity fillings easily break!?
You know how when you have a cavity and you get drilled and you are put in usually silver fillings!? Well do those silver fillings break easily!? I had my fillings done a year ago and then a year later the fillings broke!. I didn't have a cavity or anything but it just broke and need a redo on that one!. But I'm just wondering how easily fillings can break esepecially when you are biting on them or hitting on them really hard!?Thanks to anyone know might know this!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a mouth full of silver and I can tell you that yes they can break easily!. It really depends on what tooth the filling is in, the area and if you happen to chew on something the wrong way!. It's not unusual for them to break!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
idk but my back tooth that had my ONLY filling chipped off as well as part of my tooth!! And i brush regularly, no other cavities, so it wasn't gross or decayed or anything!. its weird!. i guess sometiimes if they aren't done justtt right they can break!.
and btw, i wasn't chewing or eating anything when mine broke, i just suddenly felt this piece in my mouth and when i spit it out!.!.!.!. piece of my tooth :( they just took me back in, and did the whole thing over again!. needle kinda sucked, but o wellWww@Answer-Health@Com

Usuall fillings last for years unless you are biting on real hard things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
