Does it hurt to get a cavity drilled?!
Question: Does it hurt to get a cavity drilled!?
Okay at my last denist appointment I found out I have two small cavities on opposite sides of my mouth!. I have to go to get them drilled in June and I'm starting to get nervous!. These are my first cavities so therefor I've had no expirience with cavites!. Does it hurt when they drill them!? If so how bad!? Thanks for the answers!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had my share of cavities and had to go through the experience of the dreaded drill myself!. I had 3 cavities!.!.!.and what i can tell you is that the process is not that bad!. First and Foremost, the dentist is going to numb your mouth by injecting novacaine into your gums!. the thought of getting a needle in your mouth may sound bad but its really not!. after that, you will begin to feel the numbness take effect give or take 5mins!.!.!.then the fun part start!. since your numb!.!.!.you really dont feel pain!.!.!.its mainly just a weird, strange pressure in your teeth!. a few cringes by closing your eyes every now and then when the goin gets rough will help you through!.!.!.!.long story short!.!.!.!.!.ITS NOT BAD AS YOU THINK IT MIGHT BE!Www@Answer-Health@Com
um no it doesn't hurt for them to drill them!. However the shots the give you hurt to numb your mouth because they're so big!. But if your fine with shots then you'll be fine!. I am a baby with needles so i had them put this gel on the spot where the shot was going in so i could not feel the shot going in!. But after you numb all you'll feel is pressure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
