Question: I have to get a consultation for getting my wisdom teeth pulled!.!.!.!.!.!?
I was wondering what they are going to do for the consultation!. They told me not to eat or drink anything for 6 hours prior to the consultation and to wear a loose shirt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A consultation is just a panorex x ray and exam!. The x ray goes around the whole face and shows how the wisdom teeth are placed in the bone!.
I guess they are leaving enough time to actually extract the teeth, if you agree, and after they see how difficult the extractions will be!. A loose shirt is so they can take your blood pressure and give you IV sedation I guess!. Not eating 6 hours prior is in case the anesthetic makes you sick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If its a consultation, it should just be an examination!. However, it sounds like there going to pull them!. I had my four pulled and it was no big deal!. I just had to make sure to keep the holes where the teeth were clean and free of any food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I first had to go to a consultation!. they took xrays then they gave me two options!. 1 just numb the area & have the teeth pulled or be sadated 7 have the teeth pulled!. I wounder if their going to do yours on the 1st visitWww@Answer-Health@Com
