Wisdom tooth causing lots of pain!! What shall I do?!

Question: Wisdom tooth causing lots of pain!! What shall I do!?
For the past couple of days the back of my mouth has been killing me as my third wisdom tooth is coming through!. My first two on the top jaw didnt hurt at all but this one is horrible and i can barely open my mouth!. i am taking ibruprofen and using bonjela but am just wondering if i should go to the dentist about it (bearing in mind that i really do not like my dentist and i dont think he was too keen on me either) or is it just a waste of time and should i just (attempt to) grin and bear it!?!? Would love some advice of anybody who has been in the same boat as me!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should see your dentist!. You don't want to mess around with wisdom teeth and "wait it out" especially mandibular wisdom teeth!. Its possible the tooth will never come out, its quite common for wisdom teeth to be impacted!. If these teeth are left in, they can cause malalignment of your mandibular teeth by putting pressure on them!. Also, if its impacted at the right angle it can actually cause break down of the surrounding bone and 2nd molar in front of it!.

Because you're tooth is partially erupted you are going to be more prone to infection!. The area is hard to clean and bacteria build up can occur!. Infections in the mouth are dangerous and can spread easily!. Also, an untreated abcess in your mouth leads to distruction of the surrounding bone, and you don't want that!

Taking advil and gargling with salt water is good to do prior to the appointment!. But you need to get to the dentist!. If you're not crazy about your dentist, ask him for a referral to an oral surgeon!. Unfortunately most oral surgeons and insurance plans require referrals from your DDS so you will have to atleast see him for that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Garggel warm water and salt it will kill any infection!.
But!.!.!.!.
I do recommened you pay a visit to your dentist not only is it the worse pain ever but I can also get infected and become more painful!.
=(
Hope you feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go see an oral surgeon!. He will knock you out and pull them out!. Your better off without the pain!! I feel you on that one!. I had mine in!.!.!.just 3!. They were rotten and broke!. I had the worst pain!. Felt like if I put my head through a wall I would feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't 'grin and bear it!.' If you don't feel good about your dentist, look for another one!. You should probably have the tooth out; they can come in twisted and stuff and you don't want to be in pain for the rest of your life!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have a fear of the dentist like I do, I recommend rinsing (5 minutes) with Hydrogen Peroxide!. Tastes like water, just don't swallow it!. There are lots of other great things that you can you it for as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the same thing, was using a gel to soothe pain but had to go to dentist & have tooth removed in the end!. It's okay to keep killing the pain but it will come back until you have the tooth out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the dentist!.!.!.your wisdom tooth may be impacted which means it wont come through and needs to be pulled out!. Just because you didnt have trouble with 2 of them doesnt mean the other 2 wont give you trouble!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way to stop the pain is to have to tooth cut out!. It is probably somewhat compacted and is not going to come all the way out!. find a new dentist and see him/herWww@Answer-Health@Com

Only a Dentist can help so 'Grin & bear it' you will be relived when its all over, don't be a sissy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to the dentist and who knows he might take it off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How about you go to the dentist!?!?

Thats what they are there for!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

pull it out or get your dentist to pull it out for you b'cause it hurts a lot!. thats what my mum didWww@Answer-Health@Com

When my dentist pulled my wisdoms he didn't give me a prescription for the pain!. Rather he told me to buy advil and tylenol!. He told me to take one of each as both have different medication in them that works great together for the pain!. I will tell you he was right!. At least in my case!. It actually worked!. So now I always keep both at my house!. I take one of each for everything and they greatly help!. You still need to get to the dentist as you probably should have your wisdoms pulled!. Your wisdoms will put pressure on your other teeth and may even cause them to get out of alignment!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
