Answers:
With all due caution: Usually teeth of both jaws are shaped by means of brackets and arches (train tracks) in such a way that the fit together on a dental cast!. Then, the oral surgeon moves both jaws into the anatomically correct position!. During surgery the train tracks often remain on the teeth!. Together with surgical screws and bolts they serve to fixate the jaws in the desired position!. Surgery takes up to 3 hours!. Depending on your physical shape, recovery takes about a week!. To fine tune the result of surgery the train tracks are left for several month in their place!. Ultimately to secure the result of the procedure you will have to wear a retainer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there i needed jaw surgery but i refused i just got braces and will live with a slight overjet!.!.
my ortho said 24 mouth wearing braces if you have the surgery!. What he said was wear braces for 12 months top and bottom then remove 2 bottom teeth and get the surgery done and another 12 months of braces!.

You can get the ceramic braces or metal ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
