Asking for refund on dental work when the work is almost completed?!

Question: Asking for refund on dental work when the work is almost completed!?
A woman came in our office about 4-5 weeks ago and wanted us to make her a new set of dentures!. She got them financed through a finance company we use (Where we pay part of the interest) and we got started making them!. Everything seemed to be going normal and she was really nice!. She had some things that she wanted to change when we got to the try-in phase, which was fine and expected!. We called her today to let her know that her new try-in was back from the lab and to set up her next appointment, and she was very strange acting!. She was demanding to speak to the dentist, but wouldn't say why other than to say she wasn't happy with our schedule!. I called her back, since I was always the one with her, and tried to find out what was wrong!. She wouldn't tell me!. Just kept saying that she was having second thoughts and when I asked her what about, she would just reply "I don't know!. I don't know" I asked why she wouldn't tell me what was wrong, and she said "I can't say right now!."-------Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds to me like something happened and she has changed her mind!. Maybe it's a financial issue!.!.!. sometimes people decide for dentures without speaking with their spouse about it then the spouse finds out and forces her to take it all back!.

I know of a woman who thought she was getting implants because that's what she had agreed with her spouse about and all she was given was dentures, because the spouse changed their mind and since he was the one paying he was the one speaking with the dentist!.

Sometimes our "loved ones" aren't that lovable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds to me like shes got a better quote from another dentist, or perhaps a friend of hers has told her you guys are too expensive!. Either way, dont let her get away with it that easily! she has no right to ask for a refund when you have put in so much time and effort to help her! Bugger her! Its doesnt seem like you've done anything wrong, she just seems like a bit of a tight a**! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
