Toothache..?!

Question: Toothache!.!.!?
I have the worlds WORST toothache!. It's my back teeth (top and bottom) on the left hand side!. I think my wisdom teeth might be coming through, but is it normal for your teeth and gums to go entirely numb and sensitive during this progression!?

My back (top) teeth, feel uneven!. Maybe it's because I am more aware of them due to the pain, but I'm definitely noticing something is wrong!. Is there any way to relieve the pain!? I'm booked into the dentist - but have to wait 2 weeks!.

In the meantime, is there anything I can take to relieve the pain a little or at least numb my gums enough that I can get some decent sleep!

Has anyone else had this problem!? If not, what did your teeth feel like when you had your wisdoms coming through!!?
