Anyone ever get braces put on while pregnant!?
I got my x-rays & moulds done back in March and was in the process of getting insurance approval for jaw surgery that will be performed after wearing braces for 12-15 months when I found out I was pregnant!.
Well, I finally got my insurance approval for surgery, so it's time to get the braces on!. Is it safe to get them put on now!? I'm 5w5d along!. I don't currently have an OB (looking for one as we haven't been in the area for long)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One shouldn't effect the other but your gums will tend to get very swollen as your pregnancy progresses!. Take extra care in keeping your teeth clean and brushing/massaging your gums to keep them healthy as possible!. Floss, warm salt water, brushing after every meal helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
im not in same situation but that shud be fine and wont affect your pregnancy at all, for the first day or so it migt be quite painful because your teeth move really quickly in the first few hours but after a few days you wont even remember you have them

Yeah, go for it!. Just take extra special care because pregnancy makes teeth weaker as the baby takes a lot of calcium from the mother's body!. Good luck, and have regular chats with your dentist and your midwife =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
