There are no shots hun when getting your braces on!. All they do is put cement on your teeth that will hold the brackets on!. It took my orthodontist about 45 minutes to put them on me!. The thing that holds you mouth open doesnt hurt at all it is just going to stretch out your lips and cheaks to let them axcess your mouth better!. You will be fine its not painful at all!. Tonight tho you are probably going to feel some pain from your teeth moving and advil is going to be a lifesaver!!

Good luck hun and take care!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No shots!. On the first visit you'll be rubber spacers placed in between your 1st molar and 2nd premolar and your 2nd molar!. The first visit is usually pretty quick depending on how tight your teeth are touching each other!.

The space is needed because on the 2nd visit they'll be placing metal molar bands around your molars!. This procedure takes a little bit longer, but no shots are needed!.

When they put the rubber spacers on, your mouth will be sore (some may say "it hurts") but that's normal!. Basically you'll be on a soft food diet (ex nuggets, mashed potatoes, etc) for a couple of days!. Your mouth will acclamate to the rubber spacers and you won't notice anything after a whileWww@Answer-Health@Com

Orthodontists do not even have any needles in their office!. There is nothing that your orthodontist can do to give you pain!. It will make your mouth sore for a few days and you may not want to eat anything because pain pills do not help much!. The entire process of getting your braces on takes about 4 days (including the spacers that some patients need)!. The day you go to get your braces will be easy!. That will take about 2 hours to get the braces on and adjusted!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't take too long, max 1h!.
When i had mine put on it was with what looked like a little UV light thing!. It didn't take too long, no shots, and the thing they put in your mouth doesn't hurt, but put some Vaseline on first!
After you have your brace on your teeth will ache for a while, and mine rubbed on my lips and the inside of my mouth, so they gave me some special wax to go on the brackets, which really helped!

hope this helps, don't be scared as there is nothing to worry about!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry, getting braces are N!.B!.D!. There are no shots!. All they do is is put cement on your teeth and dry it!. It only takes about 40 to 50 mins!. But they do put something in your mouth that stretches out your mouth!. Sometimes they will put vaseline on your lips!. After they put the braces on and take out the mouth stretcher your lips fill as if they are so stretched out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

is 100% painless!.!.!.!.its literaly nothing compared to getting what i got done i had teeth exposed which means cutting open the roof of my mouth, drilling into the bone to get to teeth that grew sideways because my old dentist is a complete ******** and was too lazy to take an xray of my teeth when we asked him about 100 times and then connecting the teeth in the roof of my mouth to the braces with a gold chain with tension on it and then stiching the whole thing back up while i was sleeping from valium!.!.!.very very very very very very painful!.!.!.luckily, you are just getting braces which are nothing i had them done it takes like 1 hr and there are no shots unless you have small pox or something lol idkWww@Answer-Health@Com

No shots!. The process is kinda long (an hour or two), and your lips may get dried out and your mouth may get sore from being open for so long!. Your mouth will obviously feel weird after they're done!.!.!. but don't be scared!. I was really dreading getting mine put on, but you get used to it, and believe it or not, the end result is almost always worth it!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOU DONT HAVE 2 BE SCARED IT IS NOT SORE AND NO THERE IS NO SHOTS INVOLED!. IT DOES NOT TAKE THAT LONG AND NO THERE IS NO SUCH THING THEY PUT IN YOUR MOUTH!. HOPE THIS HELPS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well depending on your ortho the waiting time to actually get braces is a while!.!. at my ortho we had to wait 2 hours after my schedueled appoitment, untill i got braces!.!.!. when i finially went in to get the braces it took about 20 minutes!.!. and my ortho had vasaline that they used to put over my mouth!.!. and i also brought my own just in case!.!. it wasnt uncomfy at all!.!. but if i didnt have vasaline i know for a fact it would be!.!. there are no shots that they put to put on braces!.!. after the braces though or a day after you get them on your teeth will be really sore!.!. and it takes a while for your mouth to get adjusted to the braces!.!.!. make sure you get a special tooth brush to brush your teeth with the braces when your at the ortho and also make sure they give you some wax because your going to need it! the brackets almost always cut into your cheeks and it makes your gums REALLY sore! ive only had my braces on for like 4 days!.!. and im not really feeling any pain right now except for the brackets poking into my mouth!.!.
