Answers:
On the bottom jaw, there are three spots for a dentist to numb!. Two are called a mandibular block which are located behind your last molar, almost where the jaws join together!. The other is called at the mental foramen, so the dentist would inject local anesthetic more towards your middle lower teeth!. Those are the best places to numb the lower jaw!. The nerves on the bottom are much different than the nerves for your top teeth!. There are some other places to numb bottom teeth, but they aren't used very often!. Not that they are wrong, but just not used as much!.

The advise to rinse with warm salt water was exactly right!. If you haven't started yet, it will help more than you know!. I dare say you don't have bone exposed!. More than likely, it's just healing!. Try the warm salt water rinses, and if it is still ghastly painful, call them back on Monday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Without seeing it I obviously can't say for certain, but you've probably got an ulcer(canker sore in U!.S) which was caused by the fact that your mucosa was a little traumatised by being injected several times at the same site!. The saltwater will help or you could use chlorhexidine gluconate 0!.2% (brand name-corsodyl)mouthwash which you could get from a pharmacy or supermarket!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
