Why is my tooth sensitive to cold drinks all of a sudden?!
Question: Why is my tooth sensitive to cold drinks all of a sudden!?
One of my cuspids has become extremely sensitive to cold drinks all of a sudden!. The weird thing is that it doesn't bother me every time I have something to drink!.
I just had a cleaning about four or five months ago and no cavities!. I'm planning to ask about this at my 6-month appointment!. I will also ask at my orthodontist appointment!.
Could it just be with my teeth moving around that a nerve was exposed!? Will it go away if that is the case!?
Thanks in advance!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be a cavity considering you haven't been to the dentist for 4 months and it could happen in that time period!. It could even be normal where it just is too cold!. Like when you eat ice cream, when you bite into it your front teeth hurt because of the ice cream!. Definitely ask your dentist so he/she can check things out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You either grind your teeth at night or have an exposed nerve!. Grinding you teeth will make your teeth sensitive because it irritates and inflames the nerves!. Of course having an exposed nerve would make you're teeth hurt, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like a cavity!.!.Even though you just had a cleaning doesn't necesarily mean they caught it in time!. Sometimes it just happens!. Make an appointment before it get's worse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
