Question: Can I pull my own buck teeth!?
Is it possible for me to pull my own buck teeth!? This would save me some money and I could go in and get a bridge after the fact!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is POSSIBLE for you to remove any tooth in your mouth by yourself, but it is really a very stupid idea!. True, it would save you the cost of getting them pulled, but there are a lot of reasons why it's a VERY bad plan!.
First, pulling out adult teeth HURTS!. A lot!. That's why they give you novocaine and numb your gums beforehand!. If you do it yourself, it will bleed a lot and hurt a lot more!.
Second, pulling out teeth is complicated!. If you pull out a tooth, you need to get ALL of the its root out as well!. Roots can sometimes be as much as a quarter of an inch long (depending on the tooth), meaning you'll basically need to put a gigantic hole in your gums!. If you leave part of the root is, it will get infected!. If you have a giant hole in your mouth, it will probably get infected too!. Fixing any mistake you made would cost much more in the end than having a professional do it and not make a mistake!.
And third, I'm assuming the buck teeth you are talking about are your front two teeth--why on earth would you want to pull those out!? You would look absolutely ridiculous without front teeth, and implants and bridges cost a lot of money too!.

that would hurt severely!. I think I would rather fork over the money and be knocked out when they pull them!. They aren't like baby teeth that are loose already, the teeth will rip you roots and cause even more problems!. you should really have a professional do it for you!.
