Question: Dry socket (rinsing with salt water)!?
i have a molar pulled 2 days ago it was a very traumatic extraction It took five different shots to get me numb and about an hr and a half of pulling unsucessfully He ended up drill the whole tooth away and pry the roots out one of which was a double root It was awful I called his office today telling him that i had some food stuck in the hole and wanted to know if I could use a syringe to get it out he said no to come on in when i got there he said it looked like it was the beginning of a dry socket and packed it with clove oil told me to remove the gauze in 20 minutes keep it clean and rinse with saltwater as needed I tried to make sure I had all questions answered before i left because he left this afternoon to go out of town til Monday i didn't so here it is do i start rinsing now or wait til the clove oil is gone i can still taste it and if I rinse won't i be washing out the oil and then i'll have more pain!? i have food in it again and need to get it out and wondering what to doWww@Answer-Health@Com
