Underbite -> Plate or retainer?!

Question: Underbite -> Plate or retainer!?

My son has an underbite!. He's 15!. What sort of options are there!? Can he have a plate or a retainer!? Or is it braces!? Would the underbite be affecting his speech at all!?

I agree with asking your orthodontist about your options!. Hypothetically, if he suggests surgery, get a second opinion as well!. There is also a lot of information you can find online, as long as you know what to look for (symptom wise)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your orthodontist is the best person for advice!. Every patient is different!. My son's teeth are just beautiful now and he had overcrowding, crooked teeth and a crossbite!. He started with braces top and bottom and now has a plate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
