I am so in your boat right now!. My face isn't swollen but my gums are so swollen that i feel that I can't eat yet!. I'm still on the ice cream diet and am trying advil with the hope that it will bring the swelling down!. I'm also trying listerine!. I've been using the salt water but that hasn't done anything!. I had my wisdom teeth 6 days ago and they were impacted, but the only gums that are swollen are the bottom ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try mashed potatoes, jello, vienna sausages!. and if the swelling isn't down by monday call ur dentist!. were I had mine done they called the next day to check on me and it was a saturday too!.

good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

did you immediately after the extraction keep ice on the area!? the swelling will go down it might be painful to close your mouth until it does, have your dentist check youWww@Answer-Health@Com
