Im getting my moulds and extra x-rays done on wednesday!.!.!. Im really scared!. I go to boarding school so my mum won't be there!.:(:(:(Www@Answer-Health@Com

A mould is just like a HUGE wad of gum in your mouth!. Before you get the mould, your nurse will put a napkin around you because you WILL druell, alot!. They leave the mould in for about a minute, then they take it out, you rinse your mouth, and your done!.
Braces aren't as bad as everyone says!. they will first apply dental cement to your teeth, then place the bracket on your tooth!. After that, they will take a special drying lamp and place it over the bracket to speed dry the cement, and move on the next tooth!. Once all the brackets are in place, your dentist will check to see if they are correctly placed!. He will then take a dental wire and warm it up a little with a match to make it more bendable!. He will then place it in the brackets and your braces will be in place!.
Next your dentist will place a chain like piece of rubber on your braces!. He will stretch the chain with a dental plier and place it around the first bracket!. The he will rotate and twist the chain to give it its chain like appearance!. somewhat like this "oooooooooooo"!. The chain will "pull" your teeth a little, causing some slight pain, but some painkillers or aspirin should relieve that!.

Dont get, white, yellow, or really any light color rubber bands, they make your teeth look really dirty!. Try a darker color, like blue, green, red, black, orange, purple, or maybe some lime green, etc!.
Chew as much gum, eat as much hard candy, and drink as much soda as you can!. You can say goodbye to all that once your braces are on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had my moulds done a couple of months ago but they aren't to bad!.!.!. all they do is put a piece of plastic with some dough stuff in it and the orthodontist pushes it onto your teeth and then just holds it there for a minute and then moves it back a tiny bit and the mould comes out!.!.!. its not painful or taste bad or anything!. The x-ray you just stand and a curved thing comes round your face whilst you bite on some plastic stick thing it doesn't hurt or even come that close to you!. The actual braces i cant help with I'm only getting mine on Friday so i can only tell you about what I've had done!.!.!.

They Don't hurt at all when they're put on!.
OK they ache a bit now and again but you get used to it, and before you know it, they don't hurt!
Just think, Your teeth will be perfect when they're off, and you can't eat chocolate or sugar so imagine what a good body you'll have too!!
The x-rays don't hurt at all, the moulds taste a bit horrid but that's OK!. Don't be scared!. I've got braces too!. And I'm sure your some of your friends have them too right!? So you're not alone in this!

make sure you like your orthodontist and even if you dont be nice to them they will be nice to you!. and once they come off make sure to wear your retainer i lost mine and now i need braces againWww@Answer-Health@Com
I used to chew gum when i had bracies, ADVICE if you do, dont do it when the dentist has done anything to your teeth i!.e tighted them, and keep it in one place and one side!. Oh you might have ulcersWww@Answer-Health@Com

they dont hurt gettin put on!. dont get the all metal 1s like my friend make sure u get a good colour rubber bands!. dont get yellow coz it makes ur teeth look dirty!. dont get pink coz it looks sh**Www@Answer-Health@Com
