I cut my gums everytime I brush my teeth...what can I do to stop this?!
Question: I cut my gums everytime I brush my teeth!.!.!.what can I do to stop this!?
I use a soft-bristled toothbrush and I don't brush hard at all!. I also use mouthwash!. I brush and wash twice a day!. It doesn't hurt when it cuts, and stops bleeding quickly, but it bleeds a lot at the time!. It's been going on for 2-3 weeks, and is scaring me a tad!
So, any ideas why this is happening!? Anything I can do/use to stop it!?
Thanks in advance!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some bleeding gums are usual when one starts to really brush their teeth and gums properly!. Generally this goes away after about a week of good, regular brushing!.
Floss properly once a day and get into the habit of brushing your teeth and gums properly with lots of gingival brushing EVERY time you eat!. You should find it stops quickly!.
Sometimes a Vitamin C deficiency will be seen this way, so take 500 mg Vitamin C and see if that helps!.
If the bleeding still has not stopped, then go to your dentist!. You may need a deep cleaning to remove deposits you cannot brush away!. These deposits can keep the gums bleeding even with good tooth brushing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
