How can I convince a dentist that my jaw is uncomfortable?!
Question: How can I convince a dentist that my jaw is uncomfortable!?
a few years ago, I had braces, then they came off, then my teeth moved!.!.!. some!.!.!. that was it now they are stuck!! at the "inbetween" spot that alot of people's teeth get stuck in!.!. you know, the " they look good" spot but dont feel as comfortable as they once did!. its like my jaw has realigned or something but no matter what I say, they will not fix it and say everything looks great! Dentists and orthodontists!! But Im telling you, its not okay, its constantly like my lower teeth are "banging" up against my top teeth!. I just wish my teeth would settle into a more comfortable position!. It's worse feeling now than it was before I had braces the first time!. I dunno, anyone experience the same "post partum braces (years after the retainer has been off) !?!?!? I dont know what to do about this uncomfortable feeling!. The dentists wont even recommend surgery or anything and the popping is WAAY worse than before!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds to me like you have developed TMJ!. I had braces as well, everything was fine but but i had a front tooth that needed to be removed i refused but insted did a root canal and crown that was a big mistake!. My bite shifted and it is so uncomfortable!. I developed headaches, earaches everytime i bite, however that has settled because my ortho and my dentist as tried doing a bite adjustment for me!. I was told that only my back molars are meeting that is why i am having so much discomfort!. I think that you need a bite adjustment!. And My be a Aqualizer ( a type of splint) that you wear between your teeth to rest your jaws!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
