About my 4 year old's teeth?!

Question: About my 4 year old's teeth!?
I have always taken care of my daughter's teeth!. I've brushed her teeth since she has had one tooth!. She has never ate more than the normal amount of candy or soda!.

About 8 months ago, I noticed she had a cavity!. By the time she got in to see the doctor the tooth was almost completed decayed!. Turns out she had 3 cavities all together!. She had to have steel crowns put on 2 of them and had the other one filled!. We took her to the best children's dentist around, nearly 2 hours away!. I cannot think of the word that they told me was probably wrong with her teeth!. They said the reason her teeth were so bad were from this!. Does anyone know what I'm talking about!?

So now I see what I think is another cavity coming in and I know I need to get her to the dentist fast to get it taken care of before it rots away!.

I feel bad because I know I've brushed her teeth everyday- Twice after she had to go to the dentist!. I'm worried that people think I don't take care of her teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You have taken the right action in seeking a good pediatric dentist!. Follow his/her suggestions!. For the front teeth you can get white crowns so it shows less!. You should not feel bad!. Some people have very soft teeth and have a very hard time with tooth decay!. Stay in touch with her dentist with any concerns!. If any treatments are available to increase the hardness of her teeth it would be well worth the money!.
Don't worry about what other people think!. First of all people who judge you without knowing the facts aren't worth being concerned with!. If you worry about your family members, make a point of telling them about all you've done about her teeth and tell them you wish there was more you could do!. Hang in there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They probably said that she had caries!.

Sometimes children get this when they're put to bed with a bottle of formula or milk and sip on it throughout the night!.

If the reason it takes a while to get her to the dentist is money, check with the public health clinic in your area and see if they do children's dental!. Most do, and it's charged based on what you can afford!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
