Question: Electronic toothbrush -- is it really worth it!?
I've never used an electronic toothbrush before, but everybody in my family is using the electronic (I'm still using the good old manual toothbrush)!. Is it worth it to switch to electronic toothbrush!? I brush regularly but my gums tend to bleed once in a while!. Should I stick with my old manual toothbrush!? I'm worried that the electronic toothbrush might be harsh for my gums!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You bet!. I recommend them to all my patients!.!.!.but you do not have to pay big bucks!. Spinning brushes with mickey mouse on the handle are cheap and work just as well as the rechargeable brushes!. The cheap brushes work on batteries!. When they wear out, throw them away!. Keep a manual brush for brushing your tongue!.

Get an electric toothbrush!. I started using one around 6 years ago, and since then, the amount of cavities requiring attention by my dentist has dropped significantly!. Electric toothbrushes are more efficient because they more effectively clean your teeth!. Highly recommended!Www@Answer-Health@Com
