ok so i have to get my wisdom teeth out soon!. and i really really do not want to get an iv because i'm terrified of needles!. i want to just get the novacaine in my mouth and be awake during the precedure!. however i'm scared cuz my friend told me that her mom could still feel it when she was getting her teeth tooken out and my dad said that the only part that hurt was the needle going into the gums when getting the novacaine!. when i got cavities filled a few months ago!. my dentist put a numbing solution on my gums so i didnt feel the shot!. what i want to know is whats the worst part about getting your wisdom teeth out!. DONT suggest for me to be put to sleep while it happens cuz i'm scared of needles plus i'm scared i wont wake up so NO!. am i worried about nothing!? how long does it take to get all four out!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're thinking about it too much!. I have 4 teeth out for braces, once it was done its done, be happy its coming soon and will be over before you know it!! I can take upto probably 20minutes for all of them and about 10 for numbness to wear in!
Its actually funny the numbing stuff in the needles! I felt like a hamster i couldn't stop laughing before hand!. Be sure to take some tissues with you!.
The dentist knows what they are doing, where to put it etc!. The worst part is hearing your tooth cracking or having the dentist sat ontop of you while trying to pull it out!.

don't freak out and stop thinking about it!. i have an impacted wisdom tooth, that is coming in under the one in front of it(broke that tooth it did)!. anyway, i have to have them cut out, because the roots are trying to tangle!. i'm in alot of pain and can't wait till friday, although i'm not sure what to expect i know that when all is said and done, i will very happy!. yes, your worried for nothing and the worst part is hearing the cracking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
u will wake up and the novacaine doesnt hurt! i am 14 and had to have some novacaine when i went (root conial) and it doesnt hurt and they should give you a tablet to take before you go back then give you the novacaine and its no biggie about the wisdom teeth my mom had it done and i watched and she said it didnt hurt! (they should give you pain killers afterwards)Www@Answer-Health@Com
You are totally freaking yourself out!. Everybody has to deal with needles and will have to rest of their lives!. Take your Ipod, close your eyes (so you won't see the needles), and it will be fine!. Yes, you are worried about nothing!. people have this procedure all the time!. You might have some soreness afterwards but they will give you pain meds and have plenty of liquids ar home to recoup!. How do you think they give you Novocaine!? They give it to you in a shot!. One needle in the back of your hand is better than a series of them to numb your gums!. Trust me, you won't feel a thing! How long it will take depends on if they are impacted or not!. If they are, opt to be "knocked out"!. Millions of people are every year, safely!.

it takes quite a while but there is nothing to be afraid of, you may feel some discomfort but depending on your dentist he will give you a good numbing agent!. Its just the after effects that are a little bit uncomfortable!. Dont worry too much about it, its nothing to be nervous about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
