Just got my wisdom tooth pulled?!


Question: Just got my wisdom tooth pulled!?
a few days ago!. The swelling and things have gone down, but am I supposed to still have a sore jaw!? I can't open my mouth!. Serious question!. Thanks!. (and ow :-( )Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as the normal pain killers work!.!.!.then you are ok!. When you take one that doesn't even touch the pain: get to the dentist!. You may have developed a dry socket, and OMG! You'll know because it's the worst pain ever!. However, the jaw pain: normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In a few days it will start bleeding uncontrollling-ly!. Your mouth may feel numb, but in a few hours after the bleeding, it will hurt!.!. a lot!. Good luck!. Oh, and you might need to bring a lot of paper towels in the process!.!. you'll need them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, that's normal!.!.!.Just watch out for dry sockets!. That is when the holes don't fill in with tissue!. It is a pain to take care of!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it was a lower tooth, this is totally normal!. The pressure and holding your mouth open can make your jaw sore!. It can last a week or so!. Use heat to make it feel betterWww@Answer-Health@Com
