Answers:
Anything with fats and protein are "tooth friendly"!.

Milk
Cheese
Nuts
Fish
Eggs
Meat and Poultry
Popcorn
Most vegetables
Sugarless gum/gum that contains xylitol (trident)

When eating a meal, it would be wise to finish it with milk or cheese or sugarless gum!. All of which increase the pH of your mouth and decrease the decay process!.

P!.S!. honey is just as decay causing as "sugar" if not more due to the consistency!.

P!.S!.S!. Sugar does cause decay, although not alone!. The bacteria in our mouth (streptococcus mutans and lactobacilli) metabolize the carbohydrates (sugars AND starches) that we eat to produce an acid!. The acid is what causes the pH in our mouth to drop and the demineralization of our to teeth to occur!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Milk and water are the best drinks for teeth (water is acidic!? hadn't heard that before)!. Steer clear of carbonated drinks and sports drinks, even the diet ones, as they're crazily acidic!. Even sugar free flavoured water is acidic!

For a snack, cheese is good!. Crisps/chips (whatever you call them!) are also a good snack as they don't have sugar - don't eat so many you get fat though! And anything that's kind of reconstituted (like prawn cocktail Skips - don't know if you have them) usually has sugar!. As do other surprising things like baked beans and ketchup!. If you want some snack ideas, you could try carrot or celery sticks with dip!. Or eggs, eggs are nice!.

Fruit is good for you from a health sense, but obviously has fruity-licious acid!. So don't gorge on orange juice - but try and get your 5 portions of fruit and veg a day!

If you've had something acidic or sugary, your saliva pH dips and becomes acidic too (known as the Stephan curve)!. So don't have a little of something bad throughout the day - have it all at once, preferably with a meal!. You can also help neutralise saliva pH by chewing, as this stimulates saliva production, and saliva has natural buffers help bring the pH up - try chewing sugarfree gum (with Xylitol, to help kill plaque bacteria)!.

The main thing is - try and have a healthy balanced diet, and avoid excess acid!Www@Answer-Health@Com

One of the big problems of course is sugar! But how do you live without eating any sugar!?
I don't know if you have a problem in this area but I do have a partial answer!.!.
I've discovered that honey [any honey] has anti-bacterial properties, so if you use honey instead of sugar it should help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Er!.!. Milk maybe, everything damages your teeth really even apples, you just have to eat things in moderation, its like oranges if you eat too many its bad for you as there is such a thing as too much vit cWww@Answer-Health@Com

Milk!.
Uh, that's it!.
Why would you ask!? Thinking about giving up brushing your teeth!? Widely paranoid about a cavity!?
Milk it is!. And the occasional biscuit, for celebrations!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

water, although it is slightly acidic!. lol anythink you eat has the potential of getting stuck into gaps of your teeth! dont worry so much about it, saliva and regular brushing protect your teeth!Www@Answer-Health@Com
