Just got my retainer?!

No, two hours is not a big deal but don't go more than three/four days without wearing your retainer (Actually, try not going over 24hrs without wearing them!. Do what your dentist tells you!)!. In my own experience (can't speak for everyone else) but after three days, my teeth shift a little and you know it when you feel the pressure from from your retainer!. I can't imagine going a week or even five days without wearing one!. I'd have to get ortho all over again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your orthodontist said 24/7, he means it, not 22/7!. wear your retainer all the time! all my friends did the same thing, and now their teeth are crooked, and they hate it like that!. it`s your choice, but i would say wear your retainer no matter what! good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

no you should be ok for short periods of times, just dont go for days without it, youd be surprised how fast your teeth can move and you wont be able to get the retainer back in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
