Question: Anybody ever bleached their own teeth with household bleach!?
My friend is going to do this today and I am very worried about her!. I am in work at the moment so cant really stop her!. Does this work and is it harmful!? Her teeth are quite stained and there is just no talking to her!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Household bleach is not an appropriate solution to put in her mouth! Hopefully she will notice it burning her tissues before she gets too far! It is toxic to her system as well!.

BTW "bleach" is NOT the active ingredient in ANY tooth bleaching system, just as it is not what they use to "bleach" your hair!. (though I have heard of people trying to use household bleach to "bleach" their hair with horrendous results!.!)

They DO NOT use sodium hypocholorite to (bleach) to whiten teeth professionally! They use hydrogen peroxide, it oxidizes the stains out of the teeth!. She can buy hydrogen peroxide over the counter and and dilute it 50/50 with water and use as a mouthrinse!. However, prolonged use could result in a black hairy tonguelWww@Answer-Health@Com
Oh my God!!! Stop her as fast as you can get you butt over there if possible! Bleach is highly toxic to the body if ingested or even placed in the mouth!. You CANNOT whiten teeth with this method!. It will not work!. The "bleaching" agent in tooth whiteners is NOT bleach!!! You have to stress this to her!.
She can get to a dentist where she can have a professional whitening done!. It is a little pricey, but the results last anywhere from 3 to 5 years!. Plus it is much safer than what your friend proposes!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your friend is absolutely stupid! Stop her from doing this and tell her parents or someone! she can poison herself and die or burn her mouth severely, and her tongue can burn off!.
