This is specifically why I think people should refrain from mouth piercings of any kind!. But, since this happened, you don't need a lecture, you need answers!.
You need to get to the dentist as soon as possible to have he or she look at it!. You will most likely need an x-ray to determine the extent of the damage, although dentists can tell quite a bit just by looking at the tooth itself!. Whether you need anesthetic or not will depend on what the dentist finds and what (s)he needs to do!. But you DO need to get to a dentist to get that tooth fixed!. Since you are not in pain, it is not considered a total emergency, but I would get it done within the week!.
Don't be afraid of the needles!. It is not that bad!. And getting the anesthetic placed in your mouth with a needle is WAY better than having dental work done without anesthetic!. I hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It should be fixed right away if you are going to cut your tongue on it!.
If it is just on top of the tooth, you should not even need a shot!.!.!.!.just have it smoothed and be out of there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
