Question: Ugh!.!.!.new wires on braces!?
Ok!.!.!.I just got new wires on my brackets!.!.!.after they did that, my face looked really different and it looked bad!. my nose and cheeks look bigger!. why!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say it's because the wires may be slightly thicker or longer than your previous wires and the wires are probably protruding a little more than your other ones!. If you aren't happy, call your orthodontist and explain it to them!. When I had braces, if I explained what was bothering me, my orthodontist fixed it right away or on my next apt!. if I could wait!. You are paying them a lot of money, so you should be happy!. They usually want to do what they can so you will recommend them to others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is just swelling from your teeth moving!. If you have any pain try using a bite plate or mouth piece!. If you keep biting on it the pain goes away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
same happens with me, its just swelling, it settles down a few days afterWww@Answer-Health@Com
