Question: Braces Tomorrow!?
Okay now lol I'm getting braces tomorrow morning at 8:45 after my regular cleaning and xray appt!. Anything I should know!? (Like colors, pain, tips, foods and such!?) Thanks! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dont sweat it its easy!!! i have had braces 3 times!!! well the first time i only had them for two days and the second time i only had the four front teeth on the bottem in brackets but im going in to get full braces
first off when your braces are being put on it doesnt hurt at all other than maybe some mild pressure, not a big deal at all, all they do is clean your teeth and make sure they are totally dry then they put glue on each tooth then carefully attach the bracket one at a time then they harden or "cure" the glue with some kind of light thats purple lol it might be a blacklight idk, but anyway then they show you a bunch off tiny colored "o rings"or ligatures that you can pick from, but this is the wierdest time cuz your just sitting there with these brackets on your mouth and it feels wierd and they are expecting you to pick you ligature colors, by the way my favorite colors are blue and teals they look cute and dont get white yellow dark green or clear they look funny, then once you have picked your colors they find a wire and attach it to the brackets one by one with the "o rings" and ta da your done, then they tell you all the stuff not ot eat and what to do if something breaks and they give you some wax on your on your way easy as that this appointment takes probably and hour maybe and hour and a half!. for the fist day you cant eat much stick to soups and yogarts, actually its pretty much like this for 4 or 5 days up to a week or two depending on how bad your teeth are!. the only thing that really hurts is the next day and the day after that cuz your mouth and gums will be very sore, but remember to take things like advil or motrin to help

I remember when I first got braces!. It was kind of scary when they were putting them on, but things may have changed in the last 7 years or so!. Your mouth will be sore at first, and they might let you chose the color of the rubber bands!. Other than that everything kind of takes care of itself!.

Hurt the first time a lot after I got them on!. Glue tastes pretty bad, and it puts a little pressure on your teeth when they put on the color bands!. After the first few times of painful eating or eating mashed potatoes, it stops hurting right after and it just feels like having your teeth being pulled together!. It's not bad, just sucks having food get stuck between your braces!.
PS: I just got mine off like April and when you get them off, your teeth feel really slimy :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

well abt colors if ur complexion is white den pink green or transperent color rubbers wud even suit u!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
but den if ur complexion's not so i cant tell u xactly
n abt food i think u shud b a lot careful n shud try to avoid hard foods like pizza n corns n mne such things whose crust is touf okay !?

i had braces for 3 years and it really stunk but my teeth are nice today!. your mouth is going to be sore for a few days and youll have to eat really soft foods like soup or ice cream for a few days but after that youll be ok!. and when you go in every month or so they will tighten them and again it will be sore!. and get any colors you want whatever you like!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
