Does a wisdom tooth always have to be removed after it's erupted?!

Question: Does a wisdom tooth always have to be removed after it's erupted!?
I've had my two lower wisdom teeth out, years ago, and over the past couple of months, my upper right one has erupted and is almost half way out!. My gums aren't irritated anymore because the 'points' have broken through (it was sore before!.!.!. like a baby teething :) ) It also doesn't seem like it will crowd out my molar!.

If I am going to spend money on dental work, I have other things to get fixed!.!.!. so I'm wondering, is there any problem with leaving the tooth in there to grow in!? Does anyone still have their erupted wisdom teeth!? Is it more difficult to remove the tooth after it's grown in completely!.!.!. it seems like it would be easier!.

Thanks :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You haven't specified whether your right upper wisdom tooth has erupted below the level of the second molar tooth or not!.!.!.!.!. it seems from your description that your right upper wisdom tooth has erupted below the level of your second molar tooth, that is because you've had your bottom wisdom tooth extracted and the upper tooth has lost its counter- balancing tooth so it is continuing to erupt [SUPRA-ERUPTION]!. So long it does not cause trauma to your cheek mucous membrane, it is o!.k to let it remain there but if it does so, get it removed at once!.!.Also watch out !.!.!.!. if there is food impaction between the upper right wisdom tooth and the preceding tooth, it could cause a caries in both the teeth!.!. so take a dentists opinion ASAP!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had two wisdom teeth removed when I was in my mid-twenties!. The other two were coming in fine, according to the dentist!. In retrospect, I probably should have gotten the other two removed, as my teeth continued to shift to make room!. Nothing very noticeable, but still makes me wonder!.

This makes me think that just because they're coming out, it doesn't mean they won't cause problems later on!. I'd get them checked by a reputable dentist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They dont always have to be removed, but some come in crooked and need to be removed so that they dont damage the other teeth!. If yours are ok then theres no reason to get them removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's not causing you pain, then there's no reason to remove it!. Nuff' said!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No problems!. I have all 4 of mine!. 32 teeth all OK!. (except for a few fillings)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
