Question: Braces broken already!!?
i got my top train-track braces on just over a week ago and already one of the things on my teeth has become unglued!. it keeps stabbing me, it's pretty annoying and it just keeps moving about on the wire!. my mom rang the orthodontists and the answering machine message said if it has become detached, you have to wait until your next appointment, but mine's not til august! how long do you think it'll be before i get an appointment to fix it, as it's not classed as an emergency!? and is there anything i can do to help it until then!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I got my braces a week to the day one of the bracket-things fell off my tooth while I was brushing them and I got an appointment roughly a week later so it is possible to get an appointment sooner rather than having to wait - get your mum to ring again, my dad didn't take no for an answer!! Tell your mom to just make an appointment and tell her to tell them that you are very sore and one of the wires are stabbing you!. They will take you in then they will notice and fix it for you!.
Trust me, don't wait until August, I had braces and I waited once till my next app and my teeth moved all around and soon after they where off!.!.!.!.!.well the wire had fallen and I called to schedule an app and I had to wait for a month!.!.!.!.!.well in that month my teeth moved around and I needed to get braces put on again!. the exact thing happened to me but it was the day i got them theres not much you can do , do get it fixed as soon as possible and if your guy is saying wait until your next one get a new guy!. when that happens the longer it can mess up your teeth and make yopu have to have braces longer!. until then try to ignore it also he should have given you some rubber stuff to stop the brace from bothering you if it starts to rub use that on the loose wire!. hope i helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i have braces too and what i would do is keep having your mom call them if it came off it needs to be re-glued thats all i can think of if they keep telling you that i dont know i dont know if this will work but try putting denture glue on the bracket and maybe that will help it stay on until your next appointmentWww@Answer-Health@Com
i no what it feels like i had exactly the same problem most people like me get given wax break some off and put it in were its affected!. this is classed as an emergecy so keep ringing till thery give you that appoinment chuck!. oh and youll soon get used to it

The only thing holding that bracket on to the wire is the little plastic ring that they clamp on with that tool!. You could remove that your self probably!.!.!. But it sounds to me like your orthodontist needs to see you immediately anyways!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would say a broken bracket constitutes an emergency, some orthos say is is done because of carelessness, if it happens and it is sticking you, get some wax and apply it over the wire and see if that does not help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Go straight to the dental and tell them!.!.They will fix it right away!. It doesn't take long time to fix it back!. My daughter too had this problem last year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yes there is if u have braces u should have wax like me som simply put wax on both side ot underneath to hold it in place (after my sister they started classafienging that as emergencys lol)!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
