Tomorrow will make 2 weeks that I have had my braces on!. I was worried about the exact same thing!. I even posted the same question here on answers!. Give yourself about a week!. Trust me, you will be eating just fine after that!. Today, I ate a hamburger and fries for lunch!. I started eating normal maybe at the end of last week!. I did not baby my teeth (grant it, I am being careful to not mess the braces up) but not babying them will help to get yourself back to normal much quicker!. Try eating mashed potatoes, pudding, smoothies, jello for the time being!. I know, its aggravating but trust me, it helps at the beginning!. btw, I am 28 years old, not someone on here just telling you something that isnt true!. Remeber to brush after eating all foods!. Just think after 2 years, you will have a big, beautiful smile!Www@Answer-Health@Com
you just got to get used to the tension of the strings, it will be hard to eat hard food like apples, and it will always be like this when your braces get tightened!.!.!.

The pain will go away in a couple of days!.
You'll get used to it, don't worry!. You are going to feel the pain every month when they tighten them, so might as well get used to it!.

3 to 4 days!. It hurts so bad the second day!. I had to take soup in a themos for lunch to eat!. Once you go back to the orthadontist to get them tightened, your in the same boat but just not as bad!. Even though pressing down really hard feels better once you let go its horrible!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I too have braces and it varies from person to person!. It depends upon the severity of your orthodontic issues etc!. In my case I was able to eat comfortably about 48 hours later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
probably after the fist week!. i remember when i first got mine on a year ago now!. I was on a diet of suoup and milk and i lost weight too!.!.!.dont worry:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
