Do you know of a "safe" method for "faking" a Tongue Ring(st!

Question: Do you know of a "safe" method for "faking" a Tongue Ring(stud) !?
I'm looking for ideas on how to safely "fake" a Tongue Ring ( Stud)!.
The reason it needs to be "Faked" is that a "minor" child actor will be filmed and we need to find a safe way to do this!.
We will only need to shoot 1 - 2 short scenes fairly close-up, and of short duration!.!.

Since this "fake" tongue ring will be used on a MINOR Child we need to be sure it is safe , yet still convincing!.

It was suggested that we use a product "Dermabond" - a surgical adhesive commonly used to close wounds, but I have seen precautions concerning use on mucus membranes!.

Are there any dental applications that could be used to temporarily adhere a stud ( small round metal "stud" or bead) to the surface of the tongue!?

Open to suggestions, ideas and information on a technique to accomplish this for a short period of timeWww@Answer-Health@Com

here's a safe way: confectionary decorations: you know those shiny EDIBLE silver bead/balls you can get to decorate cupcakes and such!? they are basically sugar coated with a type of shiny confection, no idea what they are called, but put one of those on the tongue: that way, it can be eaten, and you don't have to worry about it: i'm sure you could still do the adhesive thing too, but this is the safest way!. you can buy them at any grocery store, and they are cheap!. you can also get bigger ones of you need them!. good luck! heres a picture and link: http://images!.google!.ca/imgres!?imgurl=ht!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

edible beads!?!?!?!?!? i dont think so!. you should get a fake earring!. you can find those anywhere!!! not edible beadsWww@Answer-Health@Com

cant you digitally add the ring!? Or use a clear rubber band or string with a silver bead on it wrapped around the tongue if the shot will be brief!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've heard there are fake tongue studs available!. try searching the net for one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Now I don't know if this would work or not, but how about some Polygrip or denture adhesive!. If you just reapply it for every shot, that would be very inexpensive and safe!. You'd just have to play with it and see how much it would take and not be too globby looking!. It is pink so that helps anyway!. Using those silver balls the other person suggested may work well since they aren't very heavy and they would be fine to swallow!.
I would say the Dermabond or even some OTC medication that helps cover ulcers may be sticky enough to hold it once it dries!. I think Colgate has one, but can't remember the name!. It should be fine for the tongue because the tongue is really not a mucus membrane!. Its a muscle!.

There really are some edible beads you can buy in the grocery store!. They are in the cake decorating area and they are silver and large enough to resemble a stud!. I used them on a cake one time and everyone laughed because of how hard they were!.!.!.!.not great for cakes!.!.!.!.lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
