Answers:
bad teeth can cause sinus problems!. and having teeth pulled can cause temporary sinus trouble as well!. getting rid of bad teeth is a good thing in the long run though!. My ENT told me to take Guaifenesin!. 400 mg every 4 hours with lots and lots of water!. Trust me it will help!. You can buy the brand name Mucinex!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Squeeze your nose and try and blow like you are blowing your nose!. If you feel air coming out the hole where the tooth was extracted you could have a perforated sinus!. This is very common with top molar extractions b/c the roots are so close to the sinus!. An upper extraction also could irritate the sinus at any time b/c inflammation due to the extraction could put pressure on the floor of the sinus and cause this feeling!. Take a decongestant for both scenarios!. With the first avoid blowing your nose and see your dentistWww@Answer-Health@Com

What a horrible suggestion from the dental hygienist!. If you didn't have a perforated sinus before doing what she suggests, you would likely have one after!. Do NOT do that!. The sinus floor is often very thin where it overlies the socket of a back tooth!. Doing what she suggests could cause the floor to break into the socket even if it wasn't before blowing your nose like that!.
If you have sinus congestion, take decongestants to help dry up the sinuses!. Take painkiller for any pain!.
But do not plug your nose and blow!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everything in your mouth and around your sinus passages are swollen due to them yanking your teeth out!. Once the swelling goes down you will see a vast improvement!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
